Interim Museum on the Move!

The IBAHS interim museum is on the move again. This time the museum will be moving into 23 Main Street, the former Quong Wo Sing, Isleton Bait Shop, and See-Why Plants building. The building was continously in the Chinn family until 2005 when it housed See-Why Plants by Christian Yuhas. For more information please email info@isletonhistory.org or contact Curator Ed at 916-777-4426. Hours for the new location are 12-5PM Saturday and Sunday and by special appointment.

Walking Tours Information

The growing popularity of heritage tourism enhanced by the Bing Kung Tong building's appearance in PBS' History Detectives has brought the need for walking tours. IBAHS has been conducting walking tours of Main Street as of late. For those interested in our informative walking tours, the IBAHS board suggests a donation of $5.00 a person; students and seniors are $3.00 a person. To request more information please email IBAHS at info@isletonhistory.org.
